Up until now, each of the videos I've produced have been short little segments with simple music and titles. But I did something a little differently with today's bad movie scenes video. Okay, I did it a lot differently actually.
What you're about to see, if you're patient enough to make it all the
way through, is roughly 10 minutes of me assaulting the brutally bad
film Smokey and the Bandit Part 3, a film that even as a child I knew was totally worthless.
And for the first time in this series of videos you're going to hear my voice. You're going to hear it a lot. I decided to step up my presence for this one, as the ridiculousness needed to be explained and mocked in greater detail than a series of title cards could do. I'm not thrilled with my voice, and I'm just ending a bout with bronchitis so it's even worse to listen to, but it is what it is.
This is about as close to podcasting as I've come thus far, something I've been eager to do but never really had a great amount of material worth talking about. I think now I've found something worth doing.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Should I do more this way or should I stick to the short, simple ones?
